Frequently Asked Questions
Are you learning about Time to Care Dental Group for the first time? We understand if you have questions or concerns that you’d like to address before becoming a new patient with us. We’re happy to answer them either during your first visit, over the phone, or through our homepage! Below, we’ve included a few answers to the most common questions we hear for your convenience. You’re always welcome to give us a call as well if yours is not mentioned.
How do I get emergency dental care?
If you are experiencing a dental emergency and aren’t sure what to do, we encourage you to give our office a call, even if you aren’t sure if your symptoms indicate an urgent problem. Alternatively, those who believe they are experiencing a life-threatening dental issue should dial 911 immediately or go to an emergency room. Keep in mind that most ERs are not equipped to handle dental emergencies, so it’s typically better to call our office if you have a bad toothache, knocked-out tooth, or other similar dental problem as you’re more likely to get the treatment you need. We do our best to accommodate same-day visits and currently offer early office hours five days a week. When you call, a team member will be ready to help!
How do I find the best place to get dental work done?
The first thing you should do is get a better understanding of what it is you’re looking for in a dentist. Do you value specific services, such as dental implants, Invisalign, sedation, veneers, checkups, and cleanings? Or do you want to find a dentist that takes your insurance and works close by your home or work? Are you looking for dentistry that meets your needs as well as your family’s? With all that said, we encourage you to pay our office a visit in-person to get a better feel for the office as well as meet our team members and dentists. You can also take a look at our online dentist bios as well as look over patient reviews to gain a clearer picture of what your future dental appointments may look like.
What is the best way to find a cosmetic dentist?
Since there is no specific qualifier or specialization for what makes a dentist a “cosmetic” dentist, you’ll need to look for other attributes to see if a dentist can meet your cosmetic dental needs. At Time to Care Dental Group, Dr. Chouhan is happy to be licensed to provide Invisalign as well as specific neuromodulators, including Botox® and Dysport®. Her colleague Dr. Breault is also trained to provide Invisalign and DURAthin veneers, which are substantially thinner and remove the need for modifying teeth prior to placement. When you have the chance to speak with them directly to discuss your future smile, you’ll quickly learn that you’re in good hands!
How can I find a female dentist?
Whether you’re trying to find a specialist or you simply feel more comfortable seeing a female dentist for care, starting your search online is one of the best ways to get the job done. As you search, you’ll find that more and more dentists (and dental students) are women! While going online is a great place to start, you’ll be happy to learn that both of the dentists at Time to Care Dental Group are highly experienced and knowledgeable female dentists ready to provide you with exceptional care. We encourage you to give their detailed bios a read yourself to learn more about their stories, education, and life outside the office.
